Privacy Policy

People share personal things on Zuno Club. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, who can see it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Zuno Club is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], India ("Zuno Club", "we", "us"). We are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). This policy applies to the Zuno Club app and our website at zunoclub.app.

2. What we collect

PaymentsWallet top-ups, balance, transactions and refunds. Card and UPI details are handled by our payment partners; we do not store your full card number or UPI PIN.
Host informationFor Hosts only: government ID, PAN, bank account details for payouts, professional background and verification results.
Device and usage dataDevice model, operating system, app version, language, IP address, crash logs, and how you use app features. Push notification tokens if you allow notifications.
Support and reportsWhat you tell us when you contact support, report content or a user, or take part in surveys.

We collect camera and microphone access only when you start a voice or video call or a live audio room, and only with your permission. We do not access your contacts or precise location.

3. How we use it

  • To run your account and provide chats, calls, Clubs and live rooms.
  • To process payments, keep your Wallet accurate, issue refunds and pay Hosts.
  • To recommend Hosts, Clubs and posts that match your interests.
  • To keep people safe: verify Hosts, confirm you are 18 or older, detect spam, fraud and abuse, and review reports.
  • To improve the app: fix bugs, understand which features help, and measure performance.
  • To communicate with you about your account, transactions, safety and important changes. We send marketing messages only where you have agreed, and you can opt out at any time.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as tax records, responding to lawful requests from authorities and resolving disputes.

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you sign up and use specific features, and for certain legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act, such as complying with law. You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 8); this will not affect processing already carried out, but some features may stop working.

4. What others can see

  • Hosts and members see your name, profile photo and public profile, and any posts or comments you make in Clubs.
  • A Host you talk to sees the messages you send them and your call with them.
  • Your Following list is visible only if you choose to show it in your settings.
  • Never shown to Hosts or members: your phone number, email, year of birth, Wallet balance or payment details.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract: cloud hosting, payment gateways, SMS and OTP providers, real-time chat, calling and audio infrastructure, crash reporting and analytics, customer support and identity verification partners.
  • App stores and Google sign-in, when you download the app, make in-app purchases or sign in with Google.
  • Authorities, when required by law, court order or a lawful request from a government agency, or when needed to protect someone's safety.
  • A buyer or successor, if Zuno Club is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We will tell you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your personal data only as long as your account is active or as needed for the purposes above. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we need to keep certain records longer, for example:

  • transaction and tax records, kept for the period required by Indian tax and accounting laws;
  • information about reported content or accounts, kept as long as needed to investigate and prevent abuse; and
  • data we must preserve under a legal obligation or court order.

Club posts that others have replied to may remain, shown as from a deleted account.

7. How we protect it

We use reasonable security safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls that limit who on our team can see personal data, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your device and login safe. If a personal data breach occurs that affects you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.

8. Your rights and choices

Under the DPDP Act and other applicable law, you can:

  • Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data (most of it directly in Edit profile);
  • Erase your data by deleting your account in Edit profile, or by asking us;
  • Withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent;
  • Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity; and
  • Raise a grievance with us, and if you are not satisfied with our response, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

To make a request, email privacy@zunoclub.app from the email linked to your account, or use Help and safety in the app. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You can also turn off notifications and marketing messages in the app or your device settings.

9. Children

Zuno Club is only for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will close the account and delete their data. If you believe a child is using Zuno Club, please tell us at privacy@zunoclub.app.

10. Cookies on our website

Our website at zunoclub.app uses only essential cookies needed for the site to work, and privacy-friendly analytics to understand visits in aggregate. We do not use advertising cookies on the website. You can block cookies in your browser settings.

11. Storage and transfers

Your data is stored on secure servers in India and, where our service providers operate, may be processed in other countries. Any such transfer will be made in line with the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Government of India, with safeguards to protect your data.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Zuno Club grows or the law changes. If we make significant changes, we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
